Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications at the moment are open and will close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should satisfy the subsequent requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house which has a combined gross domestic earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined house money does not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and need not submit any evidence of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded nsfas 2025 to offer the proper Identification Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected inside their South African ID.
